Laura earned a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University in 2002 and completed graduate studies with the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) through their International Choreographic Exchange program in 2004.
Laura first discovered Osteopathy as a patient to manage old injuries and the wear and tear on her body from dancing. The treatments that she received sparked her interest in the connection between the physical body and health.
From there Laura made the decision to use her experiences and knowledge in a new context: therapeutic rather than purely artistic. She embarked on a career change and graduated with a Masters in Osteopathic Manual Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2019. She is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association.
